International Polishing Techniques, Inc.(IPT, Inc.) began
in 1982 as a service company performing restoration and maintenance of marble,
granite, limestone, and other natural stone surfaces. The founder and president
holds a Masters Level Certification in stone restoration and refinishing,
has served as the Chairman of the Standards Committee for the International
Association of Stone Restoration and Conservation and is a current active
member of the Marble Institute of America.
Because good, cost effective products were not available for the restoration
and maintenance of natural stone, we began researching, testing and, ultimately,
developed the Hardrock marble care product line. Still,
today, all new IPT/Hardrock products are field tested and
used by our own service divisions before it is offered on the open market.
