Instructions for Hardrock Stone, Tile & Masonry Sealers

STM1000 Sealer's Liquid Gold

PREPARATION:  Surface must be clean, dry and free of coatings or sealers.  Clean/strip with appropriate Hardrock Cleaner.

APPLICATION:  Apply using a brush, roller, cloth, sponge, or sprayer.  Buff Dry any excess sealer that does not penetrate within 5 to 10 minutes with an absorbent towel or carpet bonnet.  Highly porous surfaces may require a second or third application to five full protection.  Wait a minimum of 30 minutes between coats.

CURE TIME:  May be opened for foot traffic in 2 hours.  Achieves a full cure in 24 hours.

MAINTENANCE:  Hardrock Neutral Marble Cleaner or Hardrock Stone & Tile Cleaner are recommended for maintenance on the surface finish.

LIMITATIONS:  Surface temperature should be between 50° and 90° F (10° and 32° C).  Will not prevent etching from acid or caustic chemical.  May damage non-recommended surfaces - protect from contact.  May darken some materials.

STM2000 Penetrating Sealer

PREPARATION:  Surface must be clean, dry and free of coatings or sealers.  Clean/Strip with the appropriate Hardrock Cleaner.

APPLICATION:  Apply using a brush, roller, cloth, sponge, or sprayer.  Buff dry any excess sealer that does not penetrate within 3 to 5 minutes with an absorbent towel or carpet bonnet.  Highly porous surfaces may require a second or third application to give full protection.  Wat a minimum of 1 hour between applications.

CURE TIME:  May be opened for foot traffic in 2 hours.  Achieves a full cure in 24 hours.

MAINTENANCE:  Hardrock Neutral Marble Cleaner or Hardrock Stone & Tile Cleaner are recommended for maintenance depending on the surface.

STM3000 Low Gloss Seal & Finish

PREPARATION:  Surface must be clean, dry and free of coatings or sealers.  Clean/strip with the appropriate Hardrock Cleaner.

SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING

APPLICATION: Apply using a sponge, mop, lambs wool applicator or cloth.  Avoid puddling, absorb up any excess sealer.  Highly porous surfaces may require a second or third application to increase gloss and give full protection.  Wait a minimum of 30 minutes between applications.

CURE TIME:  May be opened for foot traffic 8 hours after final coat.  Achieves a full cure in 24 hours.

MAINTENANCE:   Hardrock Stone & Tile Cleaner is recommended for cleaning.  Re-apply a coat of Low Gloss Seal & Finish as needed in high traffic areas.

LIMITATIONS:  Surface temperature must be between 50° and 80° F(10° and 27° C).  Avoid high alkaline or solvent based cleaners.  May damage non-recommended surfaces - protect from contact.  May darken some materials.
